Connecting Children

All kinds of activities and programs await young people at Saint Paul.

·          Early Childhood Ministries at Saint Paul serves children ages 8 weeks to 5 years on weekdays. The program began in 1964 as a Mother’s Day Out program and was licensed for daycare and extended day in 1987.  Contact ECM director Sara Plant at 713-772-1819 or stpaulecm@yahoo.com.

·          SPY, or Saint Paul Youth, is an active group of middle school and high school teenagers who gather regularly for all kinds of activities – from rock climbing to skating to mission activities and even running the church’s Easter egg hunt for younger folks every year. Contact Bruce Folts or Beverly Folts, our youth directors, to learn more. The 2016 calendar (so far) is here.

·          Scouting – Saint Paul Presbyterian Church has sponsored Boy Scout Troop 549 since 1957 and Cub Scout Pack 549 since 1996. Both the troop and the pack are vital parts of Saint Paul’s youth ministry. The troop, for boys aged 11 to 18, meets from 7:30-9 p.m. every Monday in Currie Hall. The pack meets from 7 to 8 p.m. Mondays in the Educational Building.  Please e-mail or call Bill Folts, Jr. at 281-498-6457.
